Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a seasoned Warehouse and Logistics Leader to oversee end-to-end operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and material flow to production and repair centers.

You will drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen and 5S, manage a mid-sized team (20+), coordinate with Sales, Planning and Procurement, ensure data integrity in SAP, and maintain strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in logistics with 5+ years in mid-size team management.
• Experience in transportation and import/export processes.
• Proven Lean experience (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP and data integrity in ERP systems.
• Good English skills (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Warehouse and Logistics team (20+ staff).
• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, issuing and control of materials.
• Optimize capacity and material flows, including Kardex storage and high-bay racking.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and SAP data integrity; perform cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Ensure timely material supply to Production and Repair Centers; manage internal flows and Milk Run.
• Coordinate with external warehouse partners for material availability and transfers.
• Oversee shipping operations and ensure compliance with customer, customs and transport rules.
• Supervise Logistics and Customer Service; coordinate with Sales, Production, Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Own and improve logistics KPIs; drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, waste elimination) to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The Role:

In this role you’ll be working as part of our Supply Chain organization, ensuring the efficient, safe and timely operation of warehouse, logistics and customer service activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control and material flow, supply of production lines and Repair Centers, and execution of customer shipments.

What you will do:

• Lead and develop the Warehouse and Logistics team, ensuring effective organization, staffing, performance and operational continuity
• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, issuing and control of materials
• Optimize warehouse capacity, infrastructure and material flows, including the Kardex automated storage system and high-bay racking
• Ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity, including stock control, cycle counting, annual inventory and accurate SAP transactions
• Ensure timely and continuous material supply to Production and Repair Centers, managing internal material flows and the Milk Run replenishment system
• Manage cooperation with the external warehouse, ensuring material availability, accurate inventory records and efficient transfers between locations
• Oversee shipping operations for products, spare parts and other shipments, ensuring timely execution and compliance with customer, customs and transport requirements
• Supervise Logistics and Customer Service activities, ensuring effective coordination with Sales, Production, Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain
• Own and improve logistics and warehouse KPIs, identify root causes of issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve performance
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S and waste elimination, to improve efficiency, quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness of end-to-end material flow

What you need to have:

• Minimum 10 years of experience working in logistics, with a minimum of 5 years as a manager for mid-size team (20+)
• Experience in transportation and import/export process
• Experience with Lean methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping,...
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience of working with SAP
• Good English skills (at least B2 level)
