Citi in Poland is seeking a cybersecurity-focused engineer to review and strengthen Linux security configurations and baselines. The role requires building automation with Ansible, Python, and Bash while collaborating with Linux and Qualys teams to meet security requirements.

You will assist SA and application teams with secure configurations, assess vendor products, and document practices for global engineering and audit needs. Hybrid work is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux system administration focusing on security.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Ansible.
• Coding skills in Bash, Python, Ansible or similar.
• Basic understanding of public cloud security models in AWS and GCP.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve Linux security configurations for multiple Linux flavours and versions.
• Develop automation to implement regional OS configurations using Ansible, Bash and Python.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on security baselines and BCM checks.
• Troubleshoot issues related to secure configurations and assist application teams.
• Produce clear security and operational documentation for engineering and audits.
