LILT (Production) is seeking skilled translators to join its translation pool for Polish-Latvian content. You will translate and refine material with careful attention to nuance, tone, and context across digital platforms.

Applicants should have native proficiency and a translation degree or equivalent experience, with the ability to follow terminology precisely. Flexible contracting terms offer work with global linguistic projects.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
• A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.

Responsibilities

• Translate content between Polish and Latvian while preserving cultural nuance and clarity.
• Edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.
• Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to all deliverables.
• Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for language markets.
• Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.
• If transcreation is required, creatively adapt text to read naturally in the target language.
