Job summary

Alstom in Chorzów, Poland, is seeking a full-time Line Manager to lead the production line, collaborate with EPU managers and QA teams, and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has an Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing degree, experience in production planning, proficiency in Excel, and fluent English. The role offers cross‑functional teamwork, lean tools, and clear paths to leadership or specialist positions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing or related field.
• Experience or understanding of production planning and organization.
• Familiarity with key production metrics and their analysis.
• Communicative English and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage and lead a subordinate team effectively.
• Knowledge of labor law, particularly regarding working time calculation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate production process in your area.
• Supervise production line and work of EPU managers and their teams.
• Organize and manage the production plan, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Continuously improve production process using APSYS and Lean tools.
• Resolve issues arising on the line during the process.
• Ensure safety on the production line and collaborate with support functions.
• Analyze key production metrics.
