Job summary

ERCO GmbH in Warsaw is seeking a Lighting Designer to independently develop lighting concepts for demanding architectural projects from idea to visualization. You will use DIALux evo Pro, Sketch Up, and CAD tools to make light tangible and perceptible while acting as a technical point of contact for clients and sales colleagues.

The role requires fluent Polish and good English, several years of lighting design experience, and a passion for excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualification in lighting design or related field and a passion for outstanding lighting.
• Several years of professional experience in lighting design.
• Proficient with DIALux evo Pro, Sketch Up and CAD software.
• Knowledge of Revit; AI tools welcome.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, a high level of personal responsibility, and willingness for development.
• Fluent, business-level Polish is essential; good English also required.

What You Can Expect

• You will independently develop creative lighting concepts for demanding architectural projects – from the initial idea through to professional visualization.
• You will work with tools such as DIALux evo Pro and BricsCAD / AutoCAD / Sketch Up to make light tangible and perceptible.
• You will act as a technical point of contact for clients and sales colleagues, providing expert guidance on all questions related to our products.
• You will support projects on site, assist with mock-ups, and collaborate with the team to develop bespoke solutions.
• You will interact with most famous architects and valuable architecture both historical and modern.
• You will actively contribute to the further development of internal processes and bring in your own ideas.

What You Bring

• A qualification in lighting design, interior design, architecture, or electrical engineering, or previous equivalent experience, and above all, a passion for outstanding lighting.
• Several years of professional experience in lighting design (either with a manufacturer or a lighting design consultancy).
• Confident command of DIALux evo Pro, Sketch Up and CAD software.
• Proficiency knowledge of Revit software and AI tools are welcome.
• Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, a high level of personal responsibility, and a desire for continuous professional development.
• Fluent, business-level Polish is essential.
• As an international operating organization, good English skills are required.
