LED Modules & Systems Customer Application Specialist (EMEA)

Location: Piła, Poland | EMEA scope | Full‑time

Join our team as a Customer Application Specialist and become a key expert supporting LED Modules & Systems across the EMEA region. In this role, you will bridge technology and customer needs, providing deep application knowledge, supporting design‑in activities, and enabling customers to successfully implement our solutions. You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Commercial Operations, and cross‑functional teams, focusing on system‑based applications such as Retail Display Lighting (RDL). A key part of this role is also shaping the future of customer support through AI‑powered tools and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide application engineering support for indoor LED modules and specialized applications (including RDL)
  • Act as a technical expert for customers (Q&A, consultations, troubleshooting – online & offline)
  • Create and maintain technical‑commercial documentation (datasheets, design‑in guides, manuals, release notes)
  • Support design‑in activities (reviews, implementation guidance, system configurations)
  • Maintain and develop digital customer tools (e.g., Easy Design‑in Tool, AI‑based solutions like ESIT)
  • Define application requirements for new products and support system‑level releases
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver innovative, customer‑oriented lighting solutions
  • Support training, webinars, workshops and demos for customers and internal teams
  • Manage and improve the online sample web shop, ensuring seamless access to product samples for OEM customers
  • Contribute to benchmarking and market insights
  • Share knowledge and mentor others within the team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., electronics, optoelectronics, solid‑state lighting)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application engineering, technical support or product introduction
  • Strong understanding of LED lighting technologies / LED modules
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical environment
  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical application solutions
  • Experience with or affinity for technical documentation creation
  • Interest in digital tools, customer platforms or AI solutions
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a global, cross‑functional environment
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with system‑level solutions (modules, drivers, sensors, connectivity)
  • Background in consultative selling or design‑in projects
  • Experience with customer‑facing digital tools (e.g., configurators, web platforms)
