Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Research Engineer to strengthen our Life Sciences team in the United States. You will contribute to research programs, design and execute tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on innovative projects.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3–7 years of relevant experience, with strong data analysis and communication skills. Join our diverse, international environment and help translate science into impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Bioengineering preferred).
• 3–7 years in academic, laboratory, or industry R&D.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing, test equipment, and protocols.
• Strong data analysis and statistical knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in medical devices, orthopedics, biomechanics or ISO/ASTM testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of research and testing project plans and contribute to technology development.
• Conduct and support laboratory testing and evaluations using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Develop test programs, identify equipment, and support execution and validation of activities.
• Analyze experimental results using statistical methods to evaluate technologies.
• Monitor scientific literature to identify advances relevant to research objectives.
• Collaborate with R&D, Development, Manufacturing, Legal, and other stakeholders, documenting findings clearly.
