Saab Technologies Poland is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to support the Proxy for Domestic Trade License (MSWiA Concession) and the Proxy for Internal Control System (WSK) in Warsaw.

The role combines regulatory oversight, operational support and ensuring compliance with Polish and EU trade control requirements. This position is based at our HQ in Warsaw city centre; it is stationary with exceptional remote work only. Frequent domestic travel within Poland is required.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in special trade, Export Control, defence industry, regulatory compliance or a related area.
• Practical knowledge of Polish regulations concerning special trade.
• Good command of English and Polish.

Responsabilités

• Provide effective and efficient support in the execution of the Proxy's responsibilities related to special trade and Export Control.
• Act as a backup for the Proxy and ensure continuity of responsibilities during absence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Polish legislation governing special trade and Export Control.
• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of internal procedures and controls related to special trade and Export Control.
• Conduct and coordinate Export Control assessments, including classification and licensing requirements.
• Prepare and submit applications to the relevant ministries for amendments to licenses and permits.
• Prepare summaries, reports, analyses, and presentations in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company's business activities.
• Cooperate with relevant authorities, internal stakeholders and external advisors on Domestic Trade License and Export Control matters.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Conduct internal training for employees on WSK procedures.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation required for Domestic Trade License and Export Control compliance.
• Provide guidance to business functions on regulatory requirements and the escalation of compliance risks.
• Identify risks related to licensing and export controls and recommending appropriate preventive and corrective measures.

We are looking for an experienced professional to join Saab Technologies Poland and support the Proxy for Domestic Trade License (MSWiA Concession) and Proxy for Internal Control System (WSK).

The role combines regulatory oversight, operational support and responsibility for ensuring that the company's activities remain compliant with applicable Polish and international trade control requirements.
Your place of work will be company's HQ in Warsaw (city centre).
This position is stationary, so remote work is possible in exceptional cases.

The role requires frequent domestic travel within Poland.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in special trade, Export Control, defence industry, regulatory compliance or a related area.
• Practical knowledge of Polish regulations concerning special trade.
• Good understanding of Polish and EU Export Control regulations.
• Experience in working with public authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and complex matters independently.
• Good command of English and Polish.
• High level of integrity, discretion and accountability.
• Valid driving license and active driving.

As Personnel Security Clearance is required for this role, applicants shall already hold or have the ability to obtain one.

Selected applicants will be subject to a security vetting and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including providing a certificate of no criminal record issued by the Polish National Criminal Register.
