Job summary

Webbing in Warsaw is seeking an experienced backend engineer to deploy and manage a production-grade workflow platform using Temporal or Camunda on Kubernetes, designing robust activation and deactivation workflows for SIM services.

You will drive integration tests, performance tuning, and incident response while mentoring a junior developer and collaborating with an international team.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years backend software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with a workflow orchestration engine.
• Temporal.io strongly preferred with production experience.
• Camunda, Apache Airflow, or equivalent if strong fundamentals.
• Go or Java — production services experience.
• REST API design and implementation.
• PostgreSQL — schema design and optimization for large datasets.
• BSS/OSS domain knowledge: provisioning flows, SIM lifecycle.
• Kubernetes — deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis Pub/Sub).
• Experience designing for failure: retry policies, idempotency, compensation logic, DLQ.
• Ability to lead a junior/mid developer; Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Temporal/Camunda or similar Workflow Engine on Kubernetes (self-hosted, production-grade).
• Design and implement SIM Activation workflow: HSS, OCS, PCRF, Inventory updates.
• Implement SIM Deactivation workflow with compensation and rollback logic.
• Implement Plan Change workflow (OCS quota update + PCRF policy change).
• Leading a developer on development tasks and code reviews from week one.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end integration tests and load tests.
• Post go-live hypercare and continuous improvement.
