Job summary

Upsaily.b2b is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer in a flexible, remote-friendly role with options including Poland's Wrocław/Kraków regions. You will support cloud infrastructure development, implement IaC, and help shape CI/CD pipelines.

You'll grow hands-on with Terraform, Kubernetes basics, and GitLab CI while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve automation, monitoring, and security in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• Basic or initial practical experience with public cloud — Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Terraform or willingness to develop Infrastructure as Code skills.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes or container experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes or experience with GitLab CI.
• Ability to write simple automation scripts in Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar.
• Enjoy analyzing technical problems and learning hands-on.
• Focus on readability, security, and maintainability of solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork; open to feedback and learning in a dynamic tech environment.
• Proficient English for reading technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure development and maintenance for internal systems.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes based on GitLab CI.
• Support Kubernetes-based platforms and grow expertise in this area.
• Assist in monitoring, logging, and observability implementations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues under guidance of senior team members.
• Contribute to stability, security, availability, and cost management of solutions.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams on designing and implementing solutions.
• Participate in automating operational and platform processes.
