Job summary

LTM in Krakow, Poland, seeks a DevOps Engineer focused on GCP and Kubernetes to support migration of 100 microservices and scale the platform.

You will onboard services to Kubernetes, implement deployment patterns, run configuration, and strengthen production readiness while building reliable CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires hands-on engineering, strong English communication, and collaboration with global teams to improve observability and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE) deployments, services, ingress, and config management.
• Proven experience migrating or operating microservices platforms at scale.
• Hands-on experience deploying Java and Python services in Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC for automated provisioning.
• Excellent English communications; able to work with global teams.

• Engineer and operate the GCP/GKE platform to support migration of 100 microservices.

• Deploy Java and Python microservices into Kubernetes manifests using Helm.

• Implement observability using Grafana stack for metrics, logs, and tracing.
• Drive platform reliability, incident triage, root cause analysis.
• Identify technical debt and prioritise platform improvements.
• Ensure solutions follow security controls and guidelines.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and document learnings.

Role – Devops Engineer GCP

Job Description

• Engineer and operate the target platform on GCPGKE to support migration of 100 microservices
• Partner with application delivery pods to onboard services to Kubernetes including deployment patterns runtime configuration and operational readiness
• Provide hands on support deploying Java and Python microservices into Kubernetes manifests Helm config secrets scaling health checks
• Build and standardise CICD pipelines for containerised workloads build test security scanning deploy rollback
• Implement and evolve observability metrics logs and distributed tracing Grafana stack preferred including dashboards s and Alstyle reporting where applicable
• Drive platform reliability and production support incident triage root cause analysis and preventative improvements
• Identify technical debt and prioritise platform improvements that reduce toil and improve developer experience
• Ensure solutions follow technology guidelines security controls and operational constraints
• Work effectively in a geographically dispersed team pair with colleagues and share knowledge through documentation and enablement sessions

Key Skills And Qualifications For This Role

• Strong Handson experience with Kubernetes ideally GKE including deployments services ingress config management and troubleshooting
• Proven experience migrating or operating microservices platforms at scale
• Handson experience deploying and supporting Java and Python services in Kubernetes
• Solid experience with monitoring observability tracing preferably using Grafana products eg Prometheus Loki Tempo and Ing best practices
• Experience building and maintaining CICD pipelines for containerised applications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code Terraform preferred and automated environment provisioning
• Strong production mindset reliability incident response and continuous improvement
• Ability to work with local and global teams clear written and spoken English
• Delivery driven pragmatic approach comfortable balancing speed with control and risk management
• Openminded keen to learn and able to coach guide others where needed
