Job summary

Beffio Studio is seeking a Lead Technical Artist for our remote, international team. You will guide technical art initiatives to push real-time visuals, mentor artists, and define tools, pipelines, and standards that empower artists and engineers alike.

You will lead cross-disciplinary collaboration, solve complex rendering challenges, and shape production workflows on high-quality games. This is a hands-on leadership role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Technical Art or related game disciplines.
• Proven lead/senior technical artist with leadership.
• Experience on commercially released games.
• Strong knowledge of real-time rendering and optimization.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Proficient in Python, C#, HLSL or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technical artists across rendering, shaders, tools, optimization, and production workflows.
• Establish technical art standards, quality benchmarks, and best practices.
• Work with Art Directors, Technical Directors, Artists, and Engineers to align visual goals with technical requirements.
• Identify technical risks early and develop practical, scalable solutions.
• Mentor technical artists and provide constructive feedback and technical guidance.
