Job summary

Collinson Group in Poland is seeking a Lead Engineer to head one or more squads within Travel Experiences. The role focuses on designing, developing and delivering secure, scalable travel products while mentoring engineers and setting the standard for engineering excellence.

You will work closely with a Product Manager, embed AI and automation, and drive best practices across design, coding and testing in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design, development, testing, integration and related engineering activities as required.
• Act as the technical backbone of the squad, leading from the front, writing code daily and setting the standard for high-quality engineering.
• Work hands-on, with a strong focus on designing, coding and problem-solving.

The objective of the role is to lead the design, development and delivery of quality travel products that are secure and scalable, contributing to Collinson's position as a leader in the travel industry.**Key Responsibilities*** Deliver design, development, testing, integration and related engineering activities as required.* Deliver specific tasks, deliverables and timelines as defined and prioritised progressively by the End Client during the engagement.* Act as the technical backbone of the squad, leading from the front, writing code daily and setting the standard for high-quality engineering.* Work side by side with an Engineering Manager, ensuring the squad is delivering scalable, well-architected software.* Collaborate closely with a Product Manager to build and launch new products and services as a partnership.* Work hands-on, with a strong focus on designing, coding and problem-solving.* Act as the most experienced engineer in the squad, responsible for refining technical requirements, making key architectural decisions and mentoring engineers to help them grow.* Embed AI, automation and best-in-class engineering practices into everything developed.Collinson Group is powered by a culture of innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
