Job summary

Selvita in Kraków, Poland, seeks a Senior Scientist for High Throughput Screening to lead large HTS campaigns with 200,000+ compounds. You will develop and optimize assays, transfer to automated HTS formats, and ensure data quality while collaborating across biology, chemistry, automation, and data science teams.

Ideal candidates have a PhD and 5+ years in biotech, pharma, or CROs, with strong ELN usage and experience in hit triage, confirmation, and profiling workflows.

Qualifications

• PhD in biology, pharmacology, molecular biology, or related life sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in biotech, pharma or CROs.
• Proven leadership of large-scale HTS campaigns (200,000+ compounds).
• Hands-on experience in biochemical and/or cell-based assay development and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale biochemical and cell-based HTS campaigns in 384- and 1536-well formats (200,000+ compounds).
• Define screening strategies, assay requirements, controls, and quality criteria.
