Job summary

Xebia is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to guide a high-performing team in building cloud-native digital products for the financial services sector. You will lead architecture decisions, code, and the delivery of AI-powered features while collaborating with product, design and consulting partners.

The role requires hands-on coding across frontend, backend, and AI integrations, strong leadership of squads of 8–20 engineers, and close work with US-based clients.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience translating Figma designs into production-ready frontend applications.
• Hands-on backend development with TypeScript and AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, DynamoDB).
• Strong API design skills and experience with event-driven integrations.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications (Claude via AWS Bedrock) and AI agent orchestration (LangGraph).
• Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and infrastructure as code (AWS CDK).
• Proven track record leading squads of 8–20 engineers while maintaining a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Build modern, cloud-native digital products in financial services with AI-powered features.
• Lead squads of 8–20 engineers, mentor teammates and remove blockers.
• Design and implement complex frontend, backend and AI integrations.
• Establish engineering standards for code reviews, testing and AI-assisted development.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Drive CI/CD and IaC using GitHub Actions and AWS CDK; ensure quality through automated tests.
