Job summary

HERE Technologies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Frontend to join the Reference Agent team, owning partner-facing frontend experiences and guiding frontend integration patterns across platforms.

You will drive rapid experimentation, mentor peers, and shape frontend architecture while collaborating with product, design and backend teams to deliver polished AI experiences. Hybrid work, strong compensation and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Production experience in frontend technologies (Flutter, Kotlin with Compose, or React/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with agentic AI products, LLM-driven workflows, or AI-powered user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner-facing frontend development: design, build and maintain frontend solutions integrated into partner products and ensure quality UX.
• Contribute to the Reference Agent Team by developing reusable UI components and frontend patterns.
• Collaborate across product, backend, design and partner engineering teams and advocate for excellent AI-driven UX.
