Job summary

Danaher in Kraków, Poland, seeks a Lead Engineer for Vulnerability & Exposure Management to design and implement scanning, ingestion, normalization, and prioritization workflows. You will own the engineering implementation and collaborate with cloud, endpoint, app, and remediation teams.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Exposure Management (CTEM) and is an on-site position within Danaher Information Security at Krakow. Strong automation and risk-based prioritization are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience engineering vulnerability/exposure tooling with scan coverage and data normalization.
• Experience building automation and integrations (Python, SQL, REST APIs) across systems.
• Experience applying risk-based prioritization using threat intelligence like EPSS/KEV and asset context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/CS/IT/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Engineer scan coverage, data ingestion/normalization, prioritization logic, ticketing, and reporting pipelines.
• Build automation (Python/SQL/APIs) for prioritization, SLA logic, exception processes, and validation.
• Contribute to the CTEM operating-model design and implementation.
• Support the sustainability model with runbooks, data-quality checks, and service ownership mapping.
