Job summary

Ericsson in Budapest, Hungary is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Global Emergency Handling (GEH). You will lead and technically resolve critical customer outages, guiding cross-functional teams through fault isolation and rapid recovery.

The role combines technical excellence in telecom platforms (5GC, EPC, IMS, cloud) with leadership, communication, and collaboration to restore services and drive post-event improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Customer Support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Telecom products (5G Core, EPC, IMS).
• Broad solution and networking experience in telecom domain.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for Emergency Handling Services and restoring the customer systems quickly.
• Contribute to delivery of customer projects beyond Emergency Handling.
• Provide solutions during emergencies and post-mortem RCA CSRs.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Address complex technical and business challenges during emergencies.
• Participate in post-event improvement activities with local/global management.
