Job summary

Omterra seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer for Project Execution in Poland. You will lead electrical design tasks for power plant projects, coordinating with a distributed team to deliver balanced energy solutions.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, knowledge of gas and steam turbines, and proficiency in COMOS and plant design software. Travel up to 5% and English fluency are expected; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Gas and Steam Turbine Power Plants and COMOS.
• Experience in Electrical Systems and project execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Proficient in English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize tasks to support international projects.
• Lead electrical systems work for power plant machinery including PCCs and LV distribution.
• Collaborate with suppliers on wiring diagrams, schematics, and data sheets.
• Define component requirements and design electrical auxiliaries for turbines and generators.
• Develop and manage cable data using COMOS and plant design software.
• Prepare equipment specs and procurement documents for components.
