Job summary

Trident BMC LLC, a Trident Maritime Systems company, is hiring a Lead / Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Gdansk and support international offshore wind projects. You will lead electrical design from concept through detailed engineering, review calculations and documentation, and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.

Excellent English is required, Polish fluency preferred; travel may be occasional as projects span Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in offshore wind, offshore energy or related industries.
• Knowledge of IEC and relevant international standards.
• Experience with offshore substations/platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities from concept/basic design through detailed engineering.
• Develop and review calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and designers.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with other disciplines.
• Support technical discussions with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to project planning, cost estimation and technical/commercial proposals.
• Identify technical risks and support their resolution.
