DevOps Lead Engineer, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes in Azure. You’ll combine hands‑on technical expertise with leadership skills — mentoring the DevOps team, setting technical direction, and ensuring smooth collaboration across development and delivery teams.

Your role will focus on automation, scalability, and reliability, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and DevOps excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure consistent, reliable delivery.
• Mentor and guide a team of DevOps Engineers — fostering technical growth and best practices in automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define standards for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure provisioning on Azure.
• Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (and optionally Bicep or ARM).
• Troubleshoot and oversee resolution of complex issues related to CI/CD, infrastructure, and system integration.
• Shape the DevOps roadmap, recommending improvements for system reliability, security, and performance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously improving processes and introducing new tools where they bring value.

Qualifications and Technical Toolbox

• Strong expertise in Terraform and Azure services.
• Proven experience designing and managing Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Solid scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Bicep or ARM (nice to have).
• Strong communication and leadership skills – ability to coordinate, mentor, and influence teams.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities in complex cloud environments.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project contexts.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Proven background in a DevOps role, ideally with leadership or technical ownership responsibilities.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud environments.

Additional Desirable Experience

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments.
• Track record of successfully leading DevOps initiatives or teams in distributed setups.
