Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver large-scale data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong data modelling and architectural judgement for modern data architectures.
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS/GCP) and Python/SQL.
• Ability to translate client problems into pragmatic, production-ready engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of modern data platforms and pipelines.
• Design scalable data ecosystems using data mesh, data products, and data contracts.
• Build cloud-native data platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and GCP.
• Develop high-performance batch and real-time pipelines with Spark/Flink.
• Work with streaming tech (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) and orchestration (Airflow).
• Own data storage across Postgres, BigQuery, Snowflake; optimize formats (Parquet, Delta).
• Implement security by design and governance without hindering velocity.
• Guide and mentor engineers while collaborating with clients on impactful solutions.
