Job summary

EPAM is seeking a Lead Cloud Native Developer to build scalable, observable cloud-native apps with AI at the core. You will pair deep Python expertise with cloud engineering leadership to design and deliver AI-powered solutions.

This remote role within Poland offers architecture design, CI/CD, IaC, and mentoring across multinational teams, with opportunities to work abroad up to 60 days annually and a strong growth path.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Python software development.
• At least 1 year of technical leadership experience.
• Experience designing scalable web architectures with cost efficiency.
• Cloud-native principles with containerization or serverless computing.
• Hands-on cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging.
• AI knowledge: leveraging AI-powered tools and building AI-integrated solutions.
• English proficiency at least B2.
• Nice to have cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector stores.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration patterns and advanced cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-native Python solutions.
• Design architecture for managed databases for efficient data handling.
• Implement observability through monitoring and logging.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code to automate cloud provisioning.
• Drive CI/CD practices for automated delivery.
• Design and build AI-integrated solutions (LLMs, RAG, AI agents).
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews.
