Solaris Bus & Coach is seeking a Chief Chemical Technology Engineer in BOLECHOWO, Poland. You will lead the Chemical Technology Engineering team, own key chemical processes, and drive manufacturing concepts for new facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering focused in chemical technologies in the vehicle industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants, anti-corrosion systems, and related manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with production process development, industrialization projects, and implementation of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Chemical Technology Engineering team.
• Set priorities, resources, standards and ensure efficient project execution.
• Own and develop key chemical technology processes (paints, e-coat, sealing, bonding, coatings).
• Provide production support for chemical processes throughout their lifecycle.
• Define manufacturing concepts for new facilities and align with standards.
• Drive technology transformation initiatives including new KTL solutions.
• Lead industrialization and capacity expansion for new programs.
• Redesign and optimize production processes for efficiency and cost.
• Analyze performance, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality and ESG compliance and supplier qualifications.
