About The Role
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will lead and coordinate business analysis activities across complex enterprise initiatives, working with multiple Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and delivery teams. You will help identify business needs, analyze the organizational and solution context, and shape solutions aligned with the client’s strategic priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor and facilitator, including for senior and C-level stakeholders, you will enable effective decision-making, foster collaboration, and ensure consistency and quality across business analysis activities.
Responsibilities
- Capture the vision of the business area and the client’s specifics
- Understand the client’s business objectives and translate them to the development team
- Define the 'as is' state for the enterprise business solution, model the 'to be' state, identify and assess gaps, and propose improvements
- Develop a business case to evaluate the feasibility of potential solutions or investments
- Standardize the collection of business and solution requirements
- Apply best practices for effective facilitation, requirements elicitation, documenting, prototyping, and modeling
- Establish and follow the requirements lifecycle process
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and plan a communication strategy, considering the results and project specifics
- Manage solution scope efficiently
- Establish and manage the change management process where applicable
- Lead and support discovery and pre-sales activities, including workshops, solution shaping, and requirements clarification
- Work in different time zones
- Travel per business needs
Requirements
- A Lead Business Analyst with over 5 years of experience in IT
- Demonstrating a deep understanding of enterprise clients' business operations across various domains
- Skilled in software development methodologies, such as Agile and Kanban
- Familiar with management principles and project management specifics
- Well-versed in business development, discovery, and pre-sales activities
- Knowledgeable in business architecture frameworks
- Confident in prioritization techniques and scope management
- Experienced in key business analysis tasks, elements, and techniques
- Effective in English communication for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- A holder of professional certifications such as IIBA CBAP, PMI PBA, OCUP 2 Intermediate, OCEB 2 Business Intermediate, or TOGAF 9.0 Foundation (minimum 1 certification is mandatory)
- Experienced in data engineering or data science (would be a plus)
