Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in financial accounting with asset capitalisation and project accounting.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge related to PPE.
• Experience in multinational environment with high capex.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end asset capitalisation processes, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of capital expenditure in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Partner with Commercial Finance and software development teams to assess capital vs expense treatment, supporting consistent and well-governed decision-making.
• Oversee project accounting lifecycle, including development assets, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Review and approve capitalisation assessments, applying judgement to complex or non-standard transactions.
• Drive integrity of the fixed asset register, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and robust audit trails.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including capitalisation journals, reconciliations, and disclosures.
