Job summary

Equinix in Warsaw is seeking an experienced engineering leader to direct a mid-size team building capacity planning tools, approval workflows, and integrations with enterprise platforms like Salesforce. Qualifications

• Proven years of professional experience in software development with leadership or management roles.
• Proven experience delivering internal tooling, workflow automation, or operational systems in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on background with JavaScript, Python, and microservices-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Owns and prioritizes the product roadmap for VDC capacity approval and recommendation workflows.
• Translates capacity planning requirements into clearly defined software initiatives.
• Defines acceptance criteria, success metrics, and KPIs for capacity and workflow features.
• Partners with stakeholders to plan and communicate release calendars across teams.
• Provides technical leadership and directs work through senior engineers and tech leads.
• Oversees architecture, design reviews, and DevOps practices for capacity tools and integrations.
• Champions CI/CD, observability and microservices design patterns.
• Ensures reliable end-to-end delivery and mitigates risks early.
• Serves as technology liaison to Data Center Operations and Sales teams.
• Builds trusted relationships across functions and communicates status to leadership.
• Drives blockers resolution and actionable recommendations.
• Continuously evaluates and improves capacity algorithms and workflow efficiency.
• Drives innovation to improve planning accuracy and visibility.
• Reviews and approves system improvement recommendations and manages implementations.
• Manages resource allocation and budget with engineering managers and project managers.
• Provides budget estimates for cross-functional projects and campus-wide tooling.
• Contributes to annual budget planning for licenses, maintenance, and vendor renewals.
• Escalates budget or resourcing issues with clear recommendations.
• Manages vendor relationships and contract renewals with SLAs.
