Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Tooling Engineer to join the Blades Tooling department in Poland. You will define tool requirements for lay-up processes, design and optimize tools, and contribute to TPM, service and maintenance strategies, and supplier collaboration.

You should bring about 5–6 years in similar roles, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean. Fluency in English is required; Polish is a plus, with willingness to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of experience in tooling/related roles.
• Six Sigma or Lean knowledge.
• Fluent English; Polish language is a plus.
• CAD/CATIA understanding.
• Willingness to travel and support launches.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and specifications for tools in lay-up process.
• Design and optimize tools for lay-up processes.
• Tool development and delivery (TPM).
• Service and maintenance strategy including EAM.
• Investigate production issues with structured methods.
• Apply continuous improvement using Lean to improve efficiency and quality.
• Support supplier management and CAPEX budget.
