Job summary

Samsung is seeking language experts to join a large speech and language processing team in Europe. The role involves processing language resources, verifying language data, developing linguistic resources, augmenting corpora, and testing resources on-device.

You will collaborate with NLP engineers, linguists, and third-party partners on multilingual projects across Europe. The ideal candidate holds a degree in linguistics or related fields, is fluent in English, and has strong Turkish skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in linguistics, philology or related fields.
Excellent command of Turkish (C1-C2).
Fluency in English.
Efficiency, accuracy and interest in creating linguistic data.
An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities.
Highly motivated to learn and develop.
Eager to learn and use new technologies.

Responsibilities

Performing tasks consisting in language resources processing (text localization, translation, annotation, corpora collection, etc.).
Participation in processes of verification and analysis of text language resources.
Development of new linguistic resources or other linguistic tasks based on actual project needs.
Language corpora augmentation with domain-specific text data.
On-device testing of language resources.
Providing linguistic expertise and linguistic support for various projects.
Collaboration with NLP experts, engineers and 3rd party companies on language-specific developments.
