Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer in Gliwice to handle complex L3 issues and improve the reliability of critical systems. You will work with Java backends (Spring Boot/Micronaut) and modern frontend components (React) while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes incident analysis, root-cause investigation, and long-term fixes, plus enhancements to monitoring, AI-assisted debugging, and performance optimization in a distributed microservices environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software engineering.
Experience building, maintaining, or troubleshooting robust systems.
Comfortable with Java and Spring Boot or Micronaut.
Working knowledge of React or modern frontend frameworks.
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex L3 technical issues escalated from the support team.
Maintain and improve existing systems for stability, reliability, and performance.
Analyze incident root causes and implement long-term fixes.
Debug backend Java and frontend React components.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve bugs and improve system behavior.
Review logs, metrics, and system behavior to proactively detect problems.
Handle advanced production-system issues beyond standard support scope.
Improve monitoring, alerting, AI-driven troubleshooting, and operational processes.
Contribute to performance tuning and system optimization.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
Document known issues, solutions, and troubleshooting processes.
Share knowledge with internal teams.
