Job summary

Optiveum is seeking an Implementation Consultant – KYC Instructions and Procedures to translate AML/CTF regulatory requirements into practical, end-to-end KYC processes for a banking client. You will craft procedures and working instructions for operational teams and ensure regulatory changes are embedded across processes.

The role is hybrid with about 75% remote work, full-time (40h/week) in Warsaw, Poland, and offers a competitive rate on a B2B basis. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, improving or implementing KYC processes and procedures.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational processes and working instructions.
• Strong knowledge of CDD/EDD, PEP, Adverse Media Screening and customer risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse new AML/CTF regulatory requirements and the bank’s updated internal rules.
• Translate regulatory requirements into detailed changes to KYC processes and procedures.
• Operationalise requirements related to PEP, CDD/EDD, risk scoring, Adverse Media Screening and ODD cycles.
• Design and update end-to-end KYC processes.
• Prepare procedures, guidelines and working instructions for operational teams.
• Assess impact of regulatory changes on existing processes, roles and activities.
• Identify process gaps, risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with internal process experts and Group Financial Crime Prevention stakeholders.
• Support implementation of process changes.
• Ensure updated KYC processes work end to end.
