Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, including automation, tooling, and incident management. The role requires hands-on Kubernetes in production (4+ years), strong Linux skills, and experience with Azure or AWS, plus upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities include incident management, onboarding clients, building automation, and ongoing capacity planning to scale the platform.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes in production: 4+ years hands-on experience.
• Strong Linux and command-line fundamentals.
• Proficient debugging and troubleshooting of multi-layer systems.
• Experience with a public cloud (Azure or AWS).
• English level: upper-intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks and docs.
• Manage incidents end-to-end: response, root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity so the platform scales with demand.
