Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will handle automation, tooling, and incident management while ensuring reliable service delivery for diverse clients.

The role emphasizes strong Linux fundamentals, production Kubernetes experience, and cloud exposure (Azure or AWS). Flexible schedules with remote and office options are available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.
