Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is seeking a DevOps engineer to join an international team that builds and manages Kubernetes clusters offering block and object storage as a platform.

You will deploy applications on OpenShift, integrate Infra systems, and collaborate with developers to implement best practices while providing standby coverage on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with PaaS, CI/CD principles, and Go for API development.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL administration and cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

• As DevOps engineer, work on Product backlog and refine features for current and new platforms.
• Build integrations of various Infra systems to support end-to-end customer journeys.
• Maintain and improve existing platforms in a GitOps way of working.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand needs and promote best practices.
• Provide 24x7 coverage for standby duty on a rotational basis.

The expected salary for this position: 16000 - 24 000 PLN gross

We are looking for you, if you:

• Have extensive experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Have worked with PaaS
• Understand CI/CD principles and practices
• Have experience with Portworx or Minio
• Knowledge of software designed storage
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with networking technologies
• Have hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration
• Have experience in Go programming for API development and maintenance

Your responsibilities:

• As DevOps engineer, working on Product backlog and refining features for current and new platforms.
• Building integrations of various Infra systems to help end-to-end Customer journeys.
• Manage, maintain and improve existing platforms in a GitOps way of working
• Deployment and management of applications on OpenShift
• Collaborate with development teams to understand needs/provide enablement and drive adoption of best practices;
• Provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis with other team members.

You will join a international team of young and experienced engineers who builds new and manages existing kubernetes clusters that offer block and object based storage as a platform.
