Job summary

Autodesk is expanding in Krakow and seeks a Principal Software Engineer (Backend/Full Stack) to shape the Tandem platform for Smart Factory and Facility Operations. You will work across Go/C++ backends and React frontends, guiding architecture and delivering scalable cloud services.

Lead design reviews, mentor teams, and drive reliability, observability, and performance while collaborating with product and senior architects. Hybrid work in Krakow with global impact on Industry 4.0 solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years designing, building and operating large-scale software.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Leadership of architecture and delivery across multiple teams.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead architecture for scalable cloud-native services.
• Mentor engineers and guide best practices, reviews and metrics.
• Collaborate with product and architecture to align investments with goals.
• Deliver secure, reliable systems with strong observability and performance.
