Job summary

Successfactors is seeking a Junior VAT Specialist to join the VAT team, responsible for accurate VAT returns, INTRASTAT reporting, and timely handling of day-to-day requests. After onboarding, you will take ownership of tasks while ensuring accuracy and deadlines.

You will analyze VAT data, support audits, and prepare internal reports, with emphasis on data quality and adherence to procedures. SAP knowledge is a plus and prior SSC/BPO exposure is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related area; basic EU VAT rules understanding is expected.
• Initial experience in tax or accounting is advantageous.
• Experience in SSC/BPO environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns in the assigned scope accurately and on time.
• Prepare INTRASTAT returns in the assigned scope.
• Analyze data used for VAT/INTRASTAT reporting; identify discrepancies and cooperate with stakeholders.
• Handle ad hoc requests and prepare internal reports as needed.
• Perform accounting tasks within the VAT process.
• Support audits by collecting documentation and responding to audit questions.
• Update KPI reports and ensure high data quality.
• Keep procedures and work instructions up to date; ensure compliance with controls.
