Job summary

TD SYNNEX Poland is seeking a Junior Test Automation Engineer to enhance the quality of our Digital Commerce platforms by developing automated tests with Playwright. You will work closely with developers, QA, product owners, and other engineering teams while building your automation skills.

You will gain hands-on experience with Playwright, CI/CD, and modern quality engineering practices in an Agile environment, contributing to reusable automation components and test framework improvements in

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright or a similar web automation tool.
  • Basic to intermediate programming experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Python, or a similar language.
  • Understanding of automated testing concepts, page objects, reusable components, and maintainable test design.
  • Familiarity with Git, pull requests, source control, and basic CI/CD concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar development and delivery platforms.
  • Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
  • Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development practices.
  • Willingness to learn modern automation tools, engineering practices, and quality processes.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

As a Junior Test Automation Engineer, you will help improve the quality and reliability of our Digital Commerce platforms by developing and maintaining automated tests using modern technologies such as Playwright.

You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other engineering teams while building your technical skills in automation, software development, CI/CD, and modern quality engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.

  • Basic knowledge of JMeter, performance testing, monitoring, or observability tools.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing, code generation, or quality engineering workflows.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, visual regression, or basic security testing concepts.

  • You consistently deliver reliable automated tests for important Digital Commerce workflows.
  • You gradually increase automation coverage and help reduce repetitive manual regression testing.
  • You can independently investigate common automation failures and defects.

  • You actively contribute to sprint goals and collaborate effectively with developers and QA engineers.
  • You continuously improve your knowledge of Playwright, programming, CI/CD, and quality engineering.
