Job summary

State Street Corporation, and its CRD/Alpha Platform, is seeking junior engineers to contribute to analysis, design, and development of modular software within a cloud-centric environment.

You will work under guidance, participate in agile ceremonies, and gain exposure to modern tech such as React, Angular, NodeJS, Java, Spring, Kafka and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or related technical field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience.
• Interest and passion for building high quality software in FinTech space.
• Initial experience with Java, PowerShell and batch scripts; knowledge of C# is a plus.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analysis, design, development, testing and debugging of CRD/Alpha Platform modules under guidance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to create simple, sustainable software solutions for complex problems.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
• Engage in trainings to grow technical and domain knowledge in Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance and more.
