Job summary

Aon Corporation in Kraków is seeking a RtR Junior Finance Analyst to support accounting, reporting, and internal control processes in a hybrid role, combining remote work with office presence.

You will work under US GAAP, contribute to month-end close, SOX controls, and migrations, gaining exposure to international reporting standards and a fast-growing shared services environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of accounting experience, preferably GL.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in a multinational shared services environment.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Strong English and Dutch language skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, reporting and internal control processes.
• Perform US GAAP accounting as part of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.
• Execute month-end closing activities including reconciliations.
• Assist migrations of accounting processes from other countries.
• Perform SOX controls and collaborate with auditors.
• Ensure transactions comply with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
• Help create internal control documentation and test new systems.

What the day will look like

As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will support accounting, reporting, and internal control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Your day may include:

• Responsibility for accounting, tax, and statistical reporting for assigned entities
• Performing US GAAP accounting as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting
• Executing month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations
• Supporting migrations of accounting processes from other countries
• Performing SOX controls and collaborating with internal and external auditors
• Ensuring transactions follow corporate policies and statutory requirements
• Assisting in creating internal control documentation
• Participating in testing new systems, tools, and policies

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Around 1 year of experience in accounting, ideally in GL
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/workflow tools
• Strong motivation, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
• Additional accounting certifications are a plus
