B2 Impact is seeking a Junior Portfolio Analyst in Wrocław to support portfolio investment analysis, forecasting and valuation. You will learn to build forecasting models, perform data quality checks and translate data into practical insights for investment decisions.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement within a cross-border team, starting with data analysis and progression to leading analytic workstreams as you gain experience. English and Polish proficiency are required.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical mindset and genuine interest in data, finance, investments.
  • Quantitative background with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data/Decision Science, or related field.
  • Programming skills, preferably in Python.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, perform data quality checks and translate raw data into useful outputs.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or cloud/data environments is an advantage.
  • Structured working style with attention to detail, documenting assumptions and methods clearly.
  • Good collaborator, curious, open to feedback and able to share findings.
  • Clear communication of analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders (English required; Polish for Wrocław).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze portfolio data, identify characteristics, perform quality checks and translate data into insights.
  • Develop forecasting models to improve valuation automation, accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare materials explaining portfolio structure, performance, risks, and forecast rationale.
  • Challenge assumptions and ensure valuation outputs are transparent and well documented.
  • As experience grows, lead transaction analysis from data review to final valuation recommendation.

Junior Portfolio Analyst

Do you want to build strong analytical skills in an international investment environment? Are you curious by nature, motivated by understanding data, and eager to learn how portfolio valuations are prepared and used in business decisions? Do you want to contribute to better investment decisions by turning data into clear analysis and practical insights?

B2 Impact is expanding Portfolio Analytics to strengthen investment analysis, valuation quality and cross-border analytical capabilities. We are looking for a candidate based in Wrocław, Poland, who will join a high-profile, international team supporting portfolio investment opportunities and analytical projects across Europe. This role is designed for a developing analyst who wants to build expertise in portfolio valuation, forecasting and investment decision support.

Role specifications:

In this role, you will gradually build ownership of the analytical process behind portfolio investments. At the beginning, you will contribute mainly through data analysis, portfolio segmentation and modelling, while learning how forecasts are developed, challenged and translated into investment decisions. With experience, you will be expected to take the lead on transactions, coordinate the full analytical workstream required to produce accurate forecasts and robust valuation outputs. This will include:

  • Analysing portfolio data, identifying key characteristics, performing data quality checks and translating raw information into clear portfolio insights.
  • Developing forecasting models and analytical approaches to improve automation, accuracy and consistency of valuation methodology.
  • Preparing analytical materials that explain portfolio structure, expected performance, key risks and the rationale behind the forecast.
  • Developing the ability to challenge assumptions, identify inconsistencies and ensure that valuation outputs are accurate, transparent and well documented.
  • Taking increasing responsibility for transaction analysis, from initial data review to final valuation recommendation, as your experience and judgement develop.
Key skills and qualities we’re looking for:
  • Strong analytical mindset and genuine interest in data, finance, investments.

  • English at minimum B2/C1 level is required, as English is the common working language within the international team; Polish language proficiency is also required for the role based in Wrocław.

B2 Impact a is a data driven, matrix organisation where our Portfolio Analytics team is performing investment valuations and analysis across borders. Portfolio Analysts are highly visible throughout the organisation and sought after resources. It can become quite hectic at times, especially during seasonal peak periods for investments. Other times it can be more quiet allowing for in depth analysis and research, modelbuilding and development for continued improvement.

The role follows a hybrid working model, combining collaboration in the Wrocław office with flexibility to work remotely in line with team and business needs.
