Are you a recent graduate with a passion for financial markets, investment operations, and data analysis? We're looking for ambitious graduates to join a leading global investment bank in Wrocław as a Junior Hedge Fund Analyst on a 12-month placement.

This opportunity combines hands-on experience within a global investment banking environment with structured training through the mthree Academy, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in investment operations.

The Hedge Fund Accounting team is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting services for assigned hedge funds, including net asset value (NAV) calculations, fund performance reporting, expense allocations, and financial reporting support. The Analyst will assist with maintaining accurate fund accounting records and supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting services to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review daily/monthly NAV calculations for assigned hedge funds, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Record and reconcile fund transactions, including trades, cash activity, investments, income, and expenses.
• Calculate fund performance, investor NAVs, management fees, incentive fees, and performance allocations.
• Allocate income, expenses, and gains/losses across investors and share classes in line with fund documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with fund agreements, policies, and industry standards.
• Support complex accounting transactions, audits, financial reporting, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams, service providers, auditors, and clients to resolve accounting issues and meet reporting deadlines.

What are we looking for :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical abilities
• Interest in financial markets and investment operations
• Understanding of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, foreign exchange (FX), derivatives, options, and OTC products is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of trade lifecycle concepts is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
• Interest in technology, automation, AI, and process improvement
• Experience with Excel is essential; VBA knowledge is a plus
