Job summary

Camlin Group is seeking a Junior Node.js Engineer to join our team developing embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment in electrical networks. You will work mainly with JavaScript and TypeScript, using Node.js to contribute to microservices on our embedded Linux platform and React.js to support web applications that communicate with back-end services through REST APIs.

Under guidance from experienced engineers, you will implement, test, and debug well-defined features for IoT

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js.
• Understanding of web fundamentals and REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and CLI.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, version control, testing, debugging.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Implement well-defined software features using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React with support from the team.
• Fix defects and assist with troubleshooting on Linux-based embedded systems.
• Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration and system testing.
• Learn to use and support the team’s CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering disciplines.
• Take part in code reviews, applying feedback to improve code quality and engineering skills.
• Maintain technical documentation for assigned features and changes.
• Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly.
