your Jared is seeking a Junior Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer to join a project for a public institution in Germany. You will write and modify T-SQL, help design database structures, and collaborate with the team on query optimization.

Remote options are available, with flexibility for Wroclaw-based or hybrid work. English proficiency is required, and there are opportunities to learn and grow while contributing to diverse database solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in T-SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server in commercial or project settings.
• Minimum 3 completed MS SQL Server projects in last 3 years.
• Experience with at least 2 projects maintaining MS SQL Server databases.
• Experience with at least 1 larger-scale MS SQL Server development project.

• Participate in testing and debugging database solutions
• Collaborate with the team on analyzing and optimizing existing queries
• Document changes and implemented solutions
• Support senior developers and administrators with ongoing development tasks

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of T-SQL and relational database design principles
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, commercially or through projects
• Willingness to learn and grow in database development
• English proficiency sufficient for work and communication
• Proven track record of at least 3 completed projects within the last 3 years involving MS SQL Server database development
• Experience with at least 2 completed projects focused on the maintenance and upkeep of MS SQL Server database systems
• Experience with at least 1 completed larger-scale project involving the development or new build of an MS SQL Server database system

Nice to Have

• Basic familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure German language skills; candidates with at least B1 level may qualify for a higher rate
