Job summary

DXC Technology Polska is seeking a Junior or Mid Software Tester to join our German-speaking team in Wrocław. This role combines hands-on testing with collaboration across developers, business analysts, and customers in international projects. Hybrid work model includes 2 days per week in the office.

You will design, execute, and maintain test cases, perform functional and regression testing, and document results. German and English at B2+ are required, and ISTQB CTFL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Junior level: basic knowledge of software testing from studies, training, internships, or personal projects.
• Mid level: hands-on testing experience and ability to independently plan and execute tests.
• For both levels: understanding of testing methodologies and software development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• German (B2+) and English (B2+) communication skills.

In this role, you will support international projects by ensuring software quality through test planning, execution, documentation, and close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and customers.

• Document test results, defects, and quality risks

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and customers to ensure high-quality deliveries
• Contribute to test process improvements in agile and hybrid project environments

Requirements:

• Junior level: Basic knowledge of software testing through studies, training, internships, or personal projects

• Ability to document defects and test results clearly
• German (B2+) and English (B2+) communication skills

Nice to have:

• ISTQB CTFL certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Experience with Jira/Xray or similar testing tools
• Basic API testing knowledge (REST APIs)
• Basic SQL skills
• Experience or interest in test automation (Playwright, Selenium)
• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
