Job summary

DXC Technology Polska is seeking a Junior or Mid Software Tester to join our German-speaking team in Wrocław. This role combines hands-on testing with collaboration across developers, business analysts, and customers in international projects. Hybrid work model includes 2 days per week in the office.

You will design, execute, and maintain test cases, perform functional and regression testing, and document results. German and English at B2+ are required, and ISTQB CTFL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Junior level: basic knowledge of software testing from studies, training, internships, or personal projects.
• Mid level: hands-on testing experience and ability to independently plan and execute tests.
• For both levels: understanding of testing methodologies and software development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• German (B2+) and English (B2+) communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and verify their testability.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify risks and unexpected behavior.
• Document test results, defects, and quality risks.
• Retest fixes and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and customers to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Contribute to test process improvements in agile and hybrid project environments.
