Job summary

IBA Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Poland to join a growing team. You will own day-to-day operational tasks, support CI/CD pipelines, and help deploy and monitor applications in Kubernetes. The role emphasizes practical automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth releases.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, scripting, and cloud experience, with a proactive approach to problem solving and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux administration, networking, processes, permissions, packages and logs.
• Ability to troubleshoot CPU, memory and disk usage issues.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing and load balancing.
• Bash scripting and Git for automation; branch management and merges.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, secrets, probes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting builds and deployments.
• Familiar with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and logs analysis.

Job description

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience

to join our team and gradually take ownership of day-to-day operational tasks.

You’ll work alongside experienced DevOps engineers on CI/CD, application deployments,

troubleshooting, monitoring, and automation.

We expect you to handle routine tasks independently, with guidance and

review available for unfamiliar or more complex work.

Required skills

• Linux and networking Practical Linux administration experience: processes, services, permissions, packages, and logs.
• Ability to troubleshoot common CPU, memory, and disk usage issues.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS fundamentals, routing, and load balancing. Ability to investigate service availability and connectivity issues.
• Bash and Git Ability to read, maintain, and write Bash scripts for automation, including error handling. Practical experience with Git: branches, merge requests, and resolving conflicts.
• Docker and Kubernetes Ability to write Dockerfiles, build and run container images, and work with environment variables, volumes, and container networking. Hands-on experience deploying applications to Kubernetes using Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, and Secrets. Understanding of health probes, resource requests, and limits. Ability to troubleshoot application startup and runtime issues using logs.
• CI/CD Experience with at least one CI/CD platform: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Ability to independently modify existing build and deployment pipelines and troubleshoot failures. Understanding of pipeline variables, secrets, and artifacts.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting Practical experience with Prometheus and Grafana: finding relevant metrics, investigating alerts, and updating existing dashboards. Ability to find and analyse application logs.

• GitOps principles and Argo CD
