Job summary

Seaonics Polska in Gdańsk is seeking a mechanical design engineer to contribute to the development of components and assemblies through 3D modelling. You will prepare technical specifications, production drawings, procedures, and work instructions, and assist in selecting mechanical components and equipment.

The role offers collaboration within an international team, exposure to marine engineering standards, and opportunities to develop production documentation using Autodesk Inventor and Vault.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D modelling and producing complete production documentation (2D drawings and BOMs).
• Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
• Knowledge of marine classification rules and applicable regulations.
• Strong English and Polish skills, written and spoken.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and 3D modelling of components and assemblies.
• Preparation of technical specifications, production drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Selection of mechanical components and equipment.
• Verification and review of engineering documentation.
• Supporting Senior Engineers in daily engineering tasks and project execution.
