EPAM Systems is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join an international team delivering essential infrastructure software. You will develop features, refine code for readability, and contribute to the full development lifecycle while maintaining direct client communication.

The role offers a hybrid model with 3 days per week in client offices in Kraków, Gdańsk, or Wrocław, Poland, and opportunities to grow with experienced engineers in a modern, autonomous team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience across full software lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, build, test, support).
• 1+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Solid knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and SQL.
• Excellent English communication skills and client-facing confidence.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience developing and integrating software through the full system implementation lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, build, test, support)
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience with Java
• Solid knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and SQL
• Strong self‑management and prioritization skills
• A proactive, self‑starter mindset with a focus on quality and timely delivery
• Excellent English communication skills and confidence in client‑facing interactions (you'll be speaking with stakeholders directly!)

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Guice and Protocol Buffers
