Job summary

DXC Technology Polska is seeking a Junior-Level Java Developer to join a German-speaking team in a hybrid setup with 2 days in the Wroclaw office weekly. You will develop software across public, energy, and automotive sectors with international teams, covering the full SDLC from design to enhancement.

Required: degree in CS/IT, Java experience, strong German (C1) and English. Nice-to-have: DevOps tools, SQL databases, and knowledge of Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• First experience with Java and object-oriented programming principles gained through academic projects or personal learning.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle) and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle concepts.
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in an international project environment.
• German language skills (minimum C1) and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized software solutions together with international teams across public, energy, automotive and other sectors.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to ongoing enhancements.
