Job summary

Jit Team in Gdynia is seeking a Junior Java Developer (1+ years of commercial experience) to join our hybrid team (2-3 days on-site). You’ll design and build Java applications and microservices, collaborate with colleagues, and grow under mentorship in an international environment.

This role offers exposure to Spring/Spring Boot, REST, and modern databases like DB2 and MongoDB, with opportunities to learn new frameworks and contribute to client projects.

Qualifications

• +1 year of commercial Java experience.
• Basic familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot; Hibernate/Camel/JSP optional.
• Good English skills for an international team (B2/C1).
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
• Understanding of REST and microservices is an advantage.
• Experience with databases such as DB2 or MongoDB is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing Java-based applications and microservices.
